How do I place an order with

You can place your stair parts orders by using our free phone number 0800 085 0479 or by using our online shopping facility (this website).

Can you deliver?

Yes, we deliver stair parts all over the UK (excluding Channel Islands and Isle of Man), directly to your door, using a reliable third party courier company. A Delivery Charge of £30 applies to each order.

How long does it take to get my stair parts?

All orders will be dispatched within 7 days on receipt of cleared payment. Delivery takes 5 working days.

Do you supply retail outlets in the UK?

No, we manufacture our own stair parts. This means you get the best price and quality!

How do I pay for my stair parts order?

You can pay using PayPal or we accept credit card (excl American Express) and debit card payments.

Is your website secure?

Yes. Any personal information that you enter on is transmitted across the internet using a 256-bit Secure Socket Layer.

Do I have to pay VAT?

Yes, unless you have a UK registered VAT number, which you can give to us during the order processing.

What is the VAT rate?

Vat is charged at the Irish rate of 21%.

How will I know my order has been received?

You will receive an email from us confirming the receipt of your stair parts order.

How will I know my order has been dispatched?

You will receive another email from us confirming that your stair parts have been dispatched.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel the order within 14 working days of receipt of delivery. We will refund you for the goods only, which will be liable for a restocking charge of 15%.

You are under a duty to take reasonable care of the stair parts. These goods must be unused and returned in their original packaging.

The cost of returning goods will be borne by you.

Goods which are customised specifically for you cannot be returned. The provision of this clause does not affect your statutory rights. Goods for return should be agreed with our office in advance.

Can you create custom designs for stair parts – designs that are not on your website?

Yes, the signature staircase design collection is a non-standard, non-specific range that is produced to customers’ specifications. If you have a drawing, we can give you a quotation. If you have a design in mind, you can work alongside our designers to create a bespoke staircase design/bespoke stair parts.

What are the advantages of using George Quinn?

You get a quality product made from quality selected materials at factory prices.

Are your components lacquered or painted?

No, unless otherwise stated. All our products are to a fine sanded finish ready for paint or varnish.
